Children of Lir Collection
This collection is inspired by the old Irish tale of the Children of Lir about four siblings who were turned into swans for 900 years. The children remained together as swans for the rest of their lives. A pair of swans entwine to reveal a heart symbolising love and dedication. Light can shine through the piece revealing a Celtic triple spiral (triskele – representing eternity) that is pierced out at the back of the piece. These earings are handcrafted from Sterling Silver and special translucent blue acrylic. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in Dublin by Tracy Gilbert and is hallmarked in the Assay Office in Dublin Castle.
